Welcome to Kilwaughter Minerals' new training academy, which has been specially developed to promote excellence and inspire our customers, our people, satisfy skills shortages and create a generation of product experts.
At K Academy we are passionate about supporting our customers and improving our industry. Our aim is that we can make at least a small contribution to longer term sustainability and great outcomes for the industry.
Training courses offered through our K Academy will be delivered at our new purpose built facility in St Helens, Merseyside, which will act as a training hub in Great Britain alongside our headquarters in Larne, Northern Ireland.
Inspiring passionate product professionals
K Academy courses, both standard and bespoke, aim to support applicators and installers, merchants, contractors, architects and local authorities in accelerating the skills development of their teams.
Courses offered will involve a mixture of hands on training and classroom based learning for applying our K Rend through coloured renders and K Systems external wall insulation systems, as well as a range of CPDs. The CPDs we offer include:
- Principles of Render Application over Masonry Substrates (RIBA & RIAI Approved)
- PAS 2035 & 2030
- External Wall Insulation
- EWI on High Rise Buildings
